The fleur de lis has a rich history dating all the way to 493 and King Clovis I. It is a beloved symbol here in Louisiana and one visiting the state will find it everywhere, from stickers on car windows, embroidered on purses and clothing to beautiful pieces of jewelry and everything in between. It’s the official symbol of our New Orleans Saints and on July 9th of this year Governor Bobby Jindal, signed a bill making the fleur de lis our official symbol of Louisiana.
I will be adding several new ornaments to this category in the near future, including a restock of the beautiful black and gold ornament pictured on the "ornaments by theme" page. If you have any fleur de lis fabric that you would like made into an ornament, contact me and I will be happy to make it up for you.
